He believes that his experience as a physician and his understanding of the multidisciplinary approach required for successful healthcare outcomes will add to the quality and satisfaction of care for each client.
Shontae Smith, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
As Co-founder of Trusted Hearts Homecare Solutions and wife of Dr. Smith, Shontae Smith, RN serves as the Chief Nursing Officer of Trusted Hearts Homecare Solutions. Shontae is highly committed to upholding our 4 core values (Character, Integrity, Passion, and Compassion) and providing “Care You Can Trust”. She continues to help build the company into one of the most reliable, marketable, and respected in the home care industry.
Since 1990, Shontae has championed for quality patient care. She has an extensive background in Nursing Management, Home Health Nursing, Hospice Nursing, and Telemetry. As CNO, Shontae provides leadership for the company’s nursing team. She oversees and coordinates the agency’s nursing services while also interacting with clients, caregivers, families, and healthcare providers.
Above her responsibilities to the agency, Shontae possesses a faithful commitment to her family and community.
Rena Anderson, MHA
Director of Caregiver & Client Services
Rena Anderson is the Director of Caregiver and Client Services for Trusted Hearts Homecare Solutions. Rena has more than 13 years of healthcare experience. She has provided exceptional care to adults and pediatric patients in various roles within various organizations. She became a healthcare professional because she is naturally a caregiver and enjoys caring for others. As her career evolved, she became interested in healthcare administration and obtained her first administrative role in 2016. Rena earned her undergraduate degree from University of Baltimore in Healthcare Management. She then went on to complete her Master’s in Healthcare Administration. Rena has an in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, care coordination, best practices and understands the needs of both client and caregiver. Rena is caring, compassionate and desires to speak for those who do not feel they have a voice within the healthcare system.
Rena is a first-generation college graduate and a native of Baltimore, MD. She has two beautiful children and has been married for 15 years. She is a foodie and enjoys discovering new restaurants in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.
